Babies: Become a partner in the unfolding of your baby's tiny body and motor development. Learn over 25 poses that help babies sleep longer, strengthen muscles used to roll, sit, crawl; aid in digestion, and poses to soothe fussiness. Songs rhythms and movements give you many tools to promote baby's adjustment "outside" mommy.
Tots: In between exploring every bit of territory with their hands and feet and mouths, tots will learn many poses, movements, rhythms, and songs through class games and mom's imitation along with facilitator Lori Sugarman. Wild applause and enthusiasm always accompany each tot's accomplishments, which vary and may not appear until mid way through the 6 week session. Poses keep babies flexible, strengthen muscles for crawling, walking, running and balance, and give mom ample opportunity to praise and clap. Very helpful diversionary techniques when tantrums erupt. Sign language is introduced in the toddler's class.
