Edith Woodling is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She has been practicing yoga off and on for many years, but in the past four years, it has become her passion.
Her teaching style is one of gentle encouragement and clear instructions, working to inspire her students to improve their balance, flexibility, and, most importantly, to increase their strength and confidence in their practice. Edith stresses the importance of breath and linking the breath to every pose, “linking knowledge to action.” Pranayama and meditation practices are part of each of her classes.
Edith is a licensed spiritual director and also leads retreats in her mountain home. She teaches Yoga in a Health and Wellness program at her place of employment, St. Martin’s Episcopal School and church. She has studied with David Aukamp, RuthAnn Martin, Mitchel Bleier, Doug Keller, and Betsy Downing.
