The energy of Mother Earth is always in a state of flux and I hope she’s more hopeful than sad when she pauses, as only Mother can do, and takes note of her/our current state of affairs. Is She happy with her humans and our efforts to preserve and protect? Is she disappointed and knows we can do much better?
I tend to see the glass way more than half full. I am truly spellbound often by the beauty that surrounds me. We live in a lovely city with an abundance of trees and flowers; we have 4 seasons, all with offerings that are unique and specific.
Wildlife abounds even with constant change and growth, the city expands but the animals adapt. I hope we can still say that in 10 more years. Can we all cohabitate and thrive?
Again, the optimist – me – says “yes, we can thrive, all of us – human, plant, and animal.” We are all at our essence “One Heart”, one Divine energy and Spirit taking different form but alive and pulsing from the Center. We are God’s gift and have to take care of each other.
Getting more grounded in that highest intention to take care of each other and our planet makes a ton of sense. Lighten your footprint, make less waste, reduce overconsumption on all levels, and reuse what you can. Plant a small garden, eat and live more green, get outside as often as you can and put your feet on the grass.
Many live insulated, indoor lives, never even taking off their shoes until they get ready for bed. Afraid of germs, some isolate and scrub away any and all elements of Earth energy. Children are raised around a computer screen when they need to outside running and playing.
It makes me sad…it almost seems like a futuristic movie with no Sun, no trees or flowers…no joy or laughter. Well, that’s a bit extreme, but still…you might see my point.
Okay, enough for now, go play in the dirt.
Peace, Love, and Earth Power,
RuthAnn
